How to use it

This savings goal tracker turns any target into 100 boxes, so each box is 1% of the goal. Write the goal at the top, divide it by 100 to get the value of one box, and shade a box every time you save that amount. A $1,000 goal means each box is $10; a $2,500 goal means each box is $25. When all 100 boxes are shaded, the goal is reached.

Because it works with any amount, the same sheet fits an emergency fund, a trip, a new laptop or holiday spending. Kids can use it too, with a small goal and coins as the box value. Use one sheet per goal so progress on each stays easy to see, and write the target date at the top if there is one.

Printing tips

Goes well with: 52-week savings challenge, 100 envelope challenge chart.

FAQ

How does the 100-box tracker work?

Divide your goal by 100. Each box is worth that amount; shade one each time you save it.

What if my goal is small?

It still works. A $200 goal makes each box $2.

Can kids use it?

Yes. Pick a small goal, such as $50, and each box is 50 cents.

Is it free?

Yes, free to download and print for personal use, with no sign-up.

This printable is an organizing tool, not financial advice.
