How to use it
A simple printable advent countdown: 25 large numbered boxes, one for each day from December 1 to December 25. Kids color in a box each morning and watch Christmas get closer.
Hang it at kid height on the fridge or a door. Some families pair each box with a small activity, like baking cookies, watching a holiday movie, or donating a toy, and write it in the box ahead of time. It is a free alternative to store-bought advent calendars, and you can print one per child so there is no arguing over whose turn it is.
Printing tips
- Use stickers instead of coloring for toddlers.
- Print it the last week of November so it's ready on Dec 1.
- Write activities in pencil so they can be shuffled.
- Print at 100% or "Actual size" on US Letter paper (8.5 x 11 in). If you are in a country that uses A4, choose "Fit to page" so nothing gets cut off at the edges.
