How to use it
Planning meals for the week is one of the easiest ways to cut grocery spending and the nightly "what's for dinner" question. Page one is a seven-day grid for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. Page two is a grocery list split into store sections: produce, meat and seafood, dairy and eggs, bakery, pantry, frozen, drinks and household.
Start by checking the fridge and pantry, then plan dinners that use what you already have. Plan one leftovers night and one easy fallback meal, like eggs or pasta. As you fill in each meal, add missing ingredients to the matching grocery section so you shop the store in order and do not backtrack. Take the list with you, and stick the plan on the fridge.
Printing tips
- Keep a list of 10-15 family favorites to rotate.
- Shop with the grocery page in a clear sheet protector and a dry-erase marker.
- Write prices next to items to learn where your money goes.
- Print at 100% or "Actual size" on US Letter paper (8.5 x 11 in). If you are in a country that uses A4, choose "Fit to page" so nothing gets cut off at the edges.
